About the Maker:
Patricia Spilman
Patricia Spilman, creator of Time Piece Jewelry, has crafted jewelry from found and gifted objects for more than 20 years, starting with a box of antique beads given to her by a colleague. Other treasures include a myriad of watch parts left to her by another co-worker and pieces of shattered glass from an unlucky office window. Patricia is passionate about running, kayaking, and exploring and finds many of the objects she works into her jewelry while on her adventures. Most recently, Patricia has incorporated abalone shards found near Pacific Grove as well as sea glass and stones from the beaches of Marin County, California. Patricia hopes that each piece of jewelry is regarded as a talisman representing the owner’s love of discovery of beautiful objects.
